15 years ago, in the first days of Spell, Spelly and I would spend hours trawling our fave blogs, soaking up the editorials.This was before Instagram or Pinterest, so you had to comb the internet for all these juicy shoots - and the pinnacle of style was always Free People.

When Spelly and I first started designing the ultimate dream was for Free People to notice us and stock us, this might sound silly now but for two fledgling fashion girlies in Byron Bay it was a big dream! It turned out Free People were the first global retailer to stock Spell and we’ve adored seeing Spell styled through their lens ever since.

And now. A collaboration. We’ve been dying to share this one with you….SPELL x FREE PEOPLE a collab of our dreams is coming next week. A milestone we’ve been working towards for a couple of years, a co-designed capsule as a celebration of our two unique worlds, and the wonderful beauty created when these worlds collide.
